Note on style manuals

Several commonly used style manuals are mentioned repeatedly throughout this book; these are cited below rather than repeated in multiple chapters. Style manuals unique to specific disciplines and therefore mentioned only in a single chapter, however, are listed in the references for the chapter in which they appear.
