Carmelo Canales

Carmelo was born in Bilbao in 1960 and has a Business Administration Degree by Universidad Comercial de Deusto. He joined Arthur Andresen in 1984 starting in Bilbao office as an auditor and becoming manager and partner in Businnes Consulting Division. On october 2005, living in Madrid, he set out a new professional stage as independent management consultant through his own company Vingest, affiliated to Attest Group. He is married and has four children; between 2001 and 2004 he was also vicepresident of the historic football team Athletic Club de Bilbao

Francisco López

Francisco (Paco) López Martínez was born in Barcelona in 1954. He graduated in Business Administration in ESADE Business School and in Law in the Barcelona University. After a few years in the leading Spanish publishing group, Planeta, as assistant to the CEO, he worked as international consultant for Financial Management Consulting, a small Swiss consulting firm. In 1982 founded his own consulting firm, CMC, which was bought by Andersen Consulting in 1989, and then integrated in that organization in Spain. Paco was admitted as international partner of Andersen at the same time. After two years in Andersen Consulting, he moved to Arthur Andersen to help to build the consulting practice of Arthur Andersen in Europe. In 2002, when Andersen Business Consulting Spain was acquired by BearingPoint, he became managing director of the new firm, until 2003 when left BearingPoint to develop his own personal and professional projects, as entrepreneur and consultant. One of those projects is Libros de Cabecera, the publisher of this book, which was founded by him and where he acts as CEO.
